Privacy Policy

Overview

Wonders We Built ("the Application") is a private automation tool operated by WRPMGP, LLC ("we", "us") based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. The Application generates and uploads historical engineering and architecture videos to the YouTube channel @WondersWeBuilt using the YouTube Data API v3.

This policy describes what information the Application accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected. The Application is operated for a single channel owner and is not offered as a public service to other users.

Information We Access

When the channel owner authorizes the Application via Google OAuth, it requests access to:

• The authenticated user's YouTube channel identity (channel ID and name).
• Permission to upload videos and manage the user's own YouTube content via the YouTube Data API v3 scopes youtube.upload and youtube.

The Application does not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts, calendar, photos, profile information beyond the YouTube channel identity, or any other Google service.

How We Use the Information

Information obtained through the YouTube Data API is used solely to:

• Upload pre-generated video files to the channel owner's YouTube channel.
• Set video metadata (title, description, tags, category, privacy status, thumbnail).
• Confirm successful upload and log video IDs for the channel owner's records.

The Application does not analyze, profile, advertise to, or build a database of end users. It does not access viewer data of any kind.

Google API Services User Data Policy — Limited Use

Wonders We Built's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only use access to read and modify Google user data to provide or improve the user-facing features of the Application.
• We do not transfer the data to others unless required to provide or improve the Application, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with the user's consent.
• We do not use the data for serving advertisements, including retargeted, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
• We do not allow humans to read the data unless we have the user's affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and used for internal operations.

Data Storage and Security

OAuth refresh and access tokens are stored locally on a private server operated by WRPMGP, LLC, with filesystem permissions restricted to the operating user account. Tokens are never transmitted to third parties. No end-user personal information is stored, because the Application is used only by the channel owner.

Video files and metadata generated by the Application are stored on the same private server prior to upload. After upload, the canonical copy resides on YouTube.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share data obtained from Google APIs with any third party for any purpose. The only data transmission is between the Application and Google's own YouTube Data API endpoints, for the express purpose of uploading content to the channel owner's YouTube channel.

Data Retention and Deletion

OAuth tokens are retained until they are revoked or rotated. The channel owner may revoke the Application's access at any time via Google Account permissions; doing so immediately invalidates stored tokens and ends all data access. Generated video files are retained on the server only as long as needed to complete an upload and verify success.

Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 13, does not knowingly collect information from children, and is not used to upload content directed at children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Application or applicable law. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
